Polyiso Eco Insulation
Carlisle SynTec Systems’ Polyiso Eco is a bio-based polyisocyanurate insulation product engineered to address environmental concerns in the construction industry. Agricultural raw materials are allocated for use instead of traditional fossil fuel materials. This helps reduce embodied carbon through a mass balance approach under International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC). Introducing Polyiso Eco
Carlisle SynTec Systems is pleased to announce the introduction of its Polyiso Eco line. Carlisle has invested in alternative bio-based raw materials that lower embodied carbon content while retaining the physical properties that have made polyiso the industry standard for commercial roofing insulation.
Product Options
2.0" and 2.6" InsulBase® Eco
A rigid roof insulation panel composed of a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to glass-reinforced felt (GRF) facers. UL and FM approved for direct application over steel decks, polyiso provides the highest R-value per inch of any commercially available insulation product.
2.0" and 2.6" SecurShield® Eco
A rigid roof insulation panel composed of a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to high performance coated glass facers (CGF). ReadyFlash® features a dark CGF to accelerate adhesive flash-off on one side of the insulation board and a light CGF to slow down adhesive flash-off on the other. Ideal for use in adhered membrane systems. Achieves a UL Class A fire rating direct to combustible deck.
0.5" SecurShield HD Eco
A rigid roof insulation panel composed of ½" high-density, closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to a premium performance coated glass facer (CGF) specifically designed for use as a cover board. ReadyFlash features a dark CGF to accelerate adhesive flash-off on one side of the insulation board and a light CGF to slow down adhesive flash-off on the other. Provides 5 times the R-value at one-fifth the weight of traditional gypsum cover boards. Achieves a UL Class A fire rating direct to combustible deck.
0.5" InsulBase HD Eco
A rigid-roof insulation cover board composed of a high-density closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded on each side to glass-reinforced felt (GRF). Suitable for both re-roofing and new construction applications, InsulBase HD is specifically designed for use as a cover board in mechanically-attached single-ply systems only. InsulBase HD delivers an R-value of 2.5 and a compressive strength of 80 psi.
