The Community Stewardship Award was launched at the 2024 Carlisle SynTec Systems Sales Meeting in order to recognize the profound impact of service and community engagement. As we move forward together, we must see this initiative not just as an opportunity, but as a shared responsibility. Every rep group should consider how they can actively engage with their local communities; not solely through financial contributions, but through boots-on-the-ground efforts that make a tangible difference.
Now is the time to step up. True community prosperity is built not just on economic success, but on the strength of our connections and our willingness to give back. This means rolling up your sleeves and taking action—volunteering, mentoring, organizing clean-up efforts, supporting local trades education, assisting disaster relief efforts, or championing sustainability initiatives.
As we prepare for the 2026 Sales Meeting, we will celebrate and showcase the incredible ways our rep groups have contributed to their communities. Start planning your involvement now so that your group is part of this movement—not just as participants, but as leaders in community stewardship.

Community Organization: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
Meet Brandon Dawson, President of CSL West, whose journey over five years has been nothing short of inspiring. Unfamiliar with CASA, Brandon's relocation to Colorado sparked a quest for a transformative mission. CASA's work resonated deeply with him—a commitment driven by personal experiences of familial adoption.
Brandon's dedication to breaking cycles of abuse led to remarkable achievements. Collaborating with CASA and CSL West, he spearheaded fundraising efforts exceeding $1.5 million. This substantial contribution empowered hundreds of children with CASA volunteers and expanded support programs for at-risk youth and families.
Experience Brandon’s story and CASA’s impact firsthand. Watch the video and be inspired.
Community Organization: Strive Center for Autism, Brighton, Michigan
Zach Davis, from CRS Michigan, emerged as a finalist for the Community Stewardship Award thanks to his pivotal role in building a playground for the Strive Center for Autism. With his son, Drake, attending the center, Zack recognized the need for an outdoor space for the kids, despite the significant costs involved.
Through strategic planning and fundraising efforts, including a substantial contribution from CRS and support from the community, they raised over $43,000 toward the project.
Join us in witnessing Zack's remarkable journey unfold and celebrating the impact of community-driven initiatives in this video.
Community Organization: Believing for Bryleigh
Ryan Kirkland, from Kirkland and Associates in Central Texas, was a finalist for the Community Stewardship Award inspired by the “Believing for Bryleigh” charity event, which supports a local family facing the challenges of Metachromatic Leukodystrophy.
Ryan’s compassion expanded as he began supporting the Lennon-Aid Foundation, founded by Marci and Zach Walther. This foundation provides financial assistance to families with critically and terminally ill children, ensuring they can stay together during hospitalization and treatments. Through Ryan’s efforts, both charities have received invaluable support, making a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
Celebrate Ryan’s extraordinary commitment to community service in this video.
