Sure-Weld® TPO Delivers a Durable and Visually Striking Roof for the University of Utah North Patient Parking Garage

The University of Utah’s new eight-level, 1,400-space North Patient Parking Garage was part of a large-scale medical campus expansion that required a roofing system capable of meeting both performance and aesthetic demands. Flynn BEC installed Carlisle SynTec Systems' 60-mil Sure-Weld® TPO membrane in white, terra cotta, and slate gray across multiple roof assemblies, including the main garage roof, stairwells, and pedestrian tunnel. Designed with a custom, oversized sundial pattern, the roof required precise installation across multiple slopes, crickets, and planes. Featuring OctaGuard XT™ weathering technology and backed by a 20-year warranty with a 110-mph peak gust wind rating, the Sure-Weld TPO system delivered long-term durability, visual impact, and reliable protection for this highly complex healthcare infrastructure project.
