Sure-Seal® EPDM Cool Gray Membrane Delivers Heat-Reflective Performance for Nissha Eimo Technologies

When Nissha Eimo Technologies required a reroof of its 43,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Vicksburg, Michigan, the project demanded more than a standard replacement. With sensitive clean rooms, high interior heat generation, and extensive conduit just below the deck, Arrow Roofing & Supply, Inc. installed Carlisle’s 10'-wide, 60-mil Sure-Seal® EPDM Cool Gray membrane adhered to 2" InsulBase® Polyiso using Sure-Seal 90-8-30A Bonding Adhesive. The cool gray membrane was selected to minimize heat gain while maintaining compatibility with existing EPDM roofing on adjacent offices. Despite careful tear-off sequencing, dust control measures, and complex fastening requirements, the project was completed with precision, providing long-term durability, enhanced energy performance, and a clean, visually striking finish designed to protect this high-tech manufacturing facility for decades to come.
