1.Carlisle Sure-Seal EPDM® mechanically fastened using Carlisle HP-X Fasteners and PIRANHA™ Plates. Black EPDM reduces heating costs and minimizes condensation. TPO or PVC could also be used.
2. For secure, efficient seam sealing to reduce installation time and enhance seam strength.
3. 1/2" HD Polyiso adhered or mechanically fastened over the insulation to provide a durable surface for the membrane.
4. Minimum 2", R-value around 12 - mechanically fastened to the deck with staggered joints.
5. Applied directly above the deck to restrict moisture diffusion into the roof assembly.
6. Structural steel or concrete deck; clean, smooth, and free of debris to provide a stable substrate.
